03 May Cheadle and District Foodbank Sponsored Walk around Uttoxeter Racecourse
For 10 incredible years, Team Staffs Moorland advocate Cheadle and District Foodbank have been a lifeline for those in need. To mark this milestone, the charity are embarking on a special fundraiser: 20 of their dedicated supporters will tackle a 10k walk around Uttoxeter Racecourse prior to the race meeting commencing on June 6th.
As a volunteer-run charity, the Foodbank has served not just Cheadle, but also neighbouring villages, Uttoxeter, Marchington, Blythe Bridge, and out towards Stafford. Over the past decade, they’ve distributed approximately 100 tonnes of food to individuals, families, and children in dire need. Plus, they’ve funded Christmas meals, provided festive meat packs, and launched other initiatives throughout the year to offer support whenever it’s needed most.
